The Investment Studies Center (ISC) at Union of Investment Companies (UIC), in cooperation with the Grant Thornton Office – Alqtami, Alaiban & Partners, organized a specialized training program on "Disclosure & Transparency " during the period (Monday - Wednesday) 09th -11th  March 2020 at the Union's headquarters, where the program was presented by Mr. Emad Al Hussein with the participation of a number of attendees from licensed companies and listed in Boursa Kuwait and advisory offices. This course is a part of the organizers’ keenness to follow up presenting the different subjects related to investment companies and regulatory entities
This training program comes within the framework of the specialized training programs provided by UIC in line with the needs of investment companies listed in Boursa Kuwait. The training course focused on the practical practices of applying disclosure and transparency and their general concept according to the regulatory requirements, where the instructor referred to the mechanism of disclosure of interests and the collection of properties in accordance with the book "Disclosure and transparency" of Law No. 7 of 2010 on the establishment of the Capital Markets Authority (CMA), as well as defining the internal information, insiders and the mechanism of their disclosure in listed companies. 
One of the most important topics that was reviewed was the accuracy of the information, the definition and the manner of disclosure, as well as the other themes that complement the subject of disclosure, namely the disclosure of financial statements and other institutional procedures of the regulatory bodies and how to develop the policies and procedures of disclosure.
The training program also included practical training cases and discussions of practical reality in applying disclosure rules. And at the end of the training program, certificates were granted for participants.

نظم مركز دراسات الاستثمار لدى اتحاد شركات الاستثمار بالتعاون والتنسيق مع مكتب جرانت ثورنتون "القطامي والعيبان وشركاهم" برنامج تدريبي متخصص بعنوان "الإفصاح والشفافية" خلال الفترة (الإثنين – الأربعاء) 09 -11 مارس 2020 في مقر الاتحاد، حيث قدم البرنامج الاستاذ/ عماد الحسين بمشاركة عدداً من الحضور من الشركات المدرجة في بورصة الكويت والمرخصة ومكاتب استشارية، وذلك انطلاقاً من حرص المنظمين على متابعة تقديم ما يهم الشركات من المواضيع المرتبطة بالأمور الرقابية.
ويأتي انعقاد هذا البرنامج التدريبي في إطار البرامج التدريبية المتخصصة التي يقدمها الإتحاد بشكل مستثمر وتنسجم مع احتياجات الشركات الاستثمارية والمدرجة في بورصة الكويت.
 وقد ركز البرنامج التدريبي حول الواقع العملي في تطبيق الإفصاح والشفافية والمفهوم العام لهما وفق المتطلبات الرقابية، حيث تطرق إلى آلية الإفصاح عن المصالح وتجميع الملكيات وفقا لما ورد في الكتاب العاشر "الإفصاح والشفافية" للقانون رقم 7 لسنة 2010 بشأن إنشاء هيئة أسواق المال، وكذلك موضوع تعريف المعلومة الداخلية والمطلعين في الشركات المدرجة وآلية الإفصاح عنهم، كما استعرض أحد أهم المواضيع دقة وهي المعلومات الجوهرية تعريفها وطريق الإفصاح عنها هذا بالإضافة إلى المحاور الأخرى المتممة لموضوع الإفصاح والمتمثلة في الإفصاح عن البيانات المالية والإجراءات المؤسسية الأخرى للجهات الرقابية وكيفية استحداث وتطوير السياسات والإجراءات الخاصة بالإفصاح.
كما شمل البرنامج التدريبي حالات تدريبية عملية ومناقشات للواقع العملي في تطبيق قواعد الإفصاح. وفي نهاية البرنامج التدريبي تم توزيع الشهادات على المشاركين.
