Mr. Jassem Zainal has over 41 years of experience across various sectors. In addition to being a Member of the Board of Directors of Union of Investment Companies since 2024, Mr. Zainal currently serves as Vice Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Arzan Financial Group. He is also a Board Member at Kuwait International Bank in Kuwait.

Throughout his professional career, he has held several leadership positions including: Chairman and Managing Director in both Zumorroda Investment Company (Z-Invest) and Automated Systems Company (ASC). Additionally, he worked for a period of 25 years at Gulf Bank, during which he held a number of key positions.

Mr. Zainal also held board membership at Bank of Bahrain & Kuwait in Bahrain, Miami International Holdings Inc. in New York, Khaleej Islamic Investment Bank Bahrain, Al Madina Finance and Investments and Kuwait Airways in Kuwait. Mr. Zainal graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of General Studies in Mathematics from the University of Miami. He also holds a Master’s of Science in Civil Engineering from Kuwait University, and completed several executive programs at Harvard, Wharton and other prestigious institutions.
