After the success of the Investment Studies Center (ISC) at Union of Investment Companies (UIC) and in cooperation with Tadawul Academy - Accredited by The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) - in organizing the training program "International Introduction to Securities & Investment" (technical qualification) last September through remote interactive live sessions through the electronic training platform of UIC https://unioninvestlearning.org/, which is considered the largest e-learning platform in Kuwait, and is exclusively managed by UIC.
Upon that, the second program, “Capital Markets Authority Laws and Regulations - Accredited by CISI” (supervisory qualification) was introduced. The total number of participants in this program was about 92 trainees, who were divided into training batches in Arabic and English. The training took two and a half hours per day for six days. It was distributed over three weeks for each training group, during the period from the beginning of October to mid-November 2020, where the program was presented by Mr. Karim Mansour - Chief Trainer and Director at Tadawul Academy – Accredited by CISI.
Ms. Fadwa Darwish – Vice Secretary General of UIC and ISC Acting Director commented, “After completing this certificate, the participants will be able to know and understand the laws and regulations related to the stock market and related to the Capital Markets Authority in Kuwait, as they apply to dealers in securities and the authorized persons. She added, “We are pleased to have a reputable institution such as the Tadawul Academy as our partner in these courses, which is an institution that has more than six years of experience in delivering this training to individuals, companies and entities in all Gulf countries, and now with us in Kuwait. We hope to remain able to serve companies in Kuwait and helping all UIC member and non-member companies to pass the CISI exams with the highest scores and obtain these internationally and locally approved certificates.
Ms. Fadwa Darwish added that the participants were happy with the course in all its technical and logistical aspects, reinforcing the will of ISC at UIC to continue to provide all CISI programs during the next few period, in order to contribute to the promotion of specialized knowledge and valuable culture for the Kuwaiti market, and to empower & enhance participants’ careers and better serve the financial market.
