  1. According to the objectives of the Union, UIC organizes and cares about the interests of its members, defends their rights and represents them in all matters related to their affairs in accordance to the law. Thus, the greater the number of members of the Union, this will support its position and role.
  2. Through membership and UIC committees, a member company can contribute to the drafting and amending legislation, laws, decrees and instructions relating to investment. Most of these legislations, laws, decrees and instructions are presented to UIC to explore its remarks before approval. Then, UIC surveys its member companies’ remarks regarding these drafts therefore it includes their remarks in the final memo.
  3. UIC organizes public seminars and lectures hosting the most important international financial institutions and regulators to put the latest developments in international and regional financial markets.
  4. A company benefits from the training programs offered by the Union through the Investment Studies Center (ISC). These courses are introduced for free only for UIC members.
  1. The member must be Kuwaiti National.
  2. Official extract from the competent entities relating to the information of the company already registered with, particularly indicating the objectives of the company.
  3. Statement of the directors signed by the authorized signatory of the applicant company.
  4. Paying the joining and annual membership fees.
  1. Investment Studies Center (ISC) is the training tool of UIC, which is licensed from the which is licensed from The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, and registered at The Civil Service Commission.
  2. One of the most important services provided by the Union to its member companies is training programs and workshops through Investment Studies Center.
  3. The center introduces about 12 training programs each year.
  4. Investment studies Center (ISC) introduces its activities in low cost rates for its member companies.
  5. This means that if the member company nominates only one delegate for each course provided by the Union, the company will benefit in a certain proportion of the company’s annual subscription at UIC in the form of certified training in accordance with its requirements.

ISC choices of the training programs and workshops depend on the following:

  1. Training programs and workshops should meet the actual, current and future training needs of employees at member companies with their various departments and specializations.
  2. Mostly the studies center hosts institutes that are internationally accredited, efficient and proven experience.
  3. During each training program, practical and modern case studies are provided, so that the maximum benefit and practical application of the program can be achieved.
